I went to hear Robert Macfarlane talk about his new book 'Holloways'.
So, I am now reading 'The Old Ways'.
The books document Robert Macfarlane's exploration (on every level) of the hidden, up-mapped places, that are simply marked by ages of footfall. The first editions were hand-made using old printing methods and illustrated with hard ground etchings.
The talk (and the books) resonate with me because of some common ground with my interest in spaces that are overlooked and the forms that can be found there. I am curious to read more, and more.
